Visited the Burnie Makers Centre, a joint effort between various craft people in and around Burnie, as well as the Burnie Information Centre. Quite some interesting displays here. One thing one notices straight away anywhere in Burnie is the smell of wood chips, Burnie is a major port for the export of wood chips to Japan, so they can make copy paper which we then import from Japan, go figure.
And here is one for my "crafty" 2 daughters.
One is never far from water in Tassie.
Camped for the night in Sheffield, which we had visited early in the trip (the place with all the murals). Quite wet and drizzly but a reasonable free camp area.
We were parked next to this nice 5th wheeler and F250 6.9ltr diesel tow rig, the extra tank on the tray is a diesel tank.
This guy imported the Cougar 5th wheeler from the US and was selling it, asking $65,000, a similar one in the US goes for around $US20,000.
