Day 37 - 39 - 11/08 - 13/08/2013 - Sydney

Apart from the beautiful surroundings of the Lane Cove Caravan Park, the location is extremely convenient to use public transport being a 5-10 min walk from the North Ryde trains station, where you can catch a train straight in to the city centre, the Harbour and the Sydney Opera House.

Sydney has great public transport and for "seniors" a great deal as well, for $2.50 they can buy a day ticket that gives access to all trains. buses and ferries.

So, we caught the train from North Ryde to catch a ferry to Parramatta.

This ferry ride takes about 1 1/2 hours each way and is a fantastic way to see that part of the Harbour and the Parramatta River.
