We stayed at a caravan park on the Derwent River just north of Hobart.
Visited the Salamanca Markets on the harbour front at Salamanca Place in Hobart, these are held every Saturday and are very popular.
Oliebollen - traditional Dutch New Years' Eve treat - made those myself last New Years Eve but we couldn't resist buying some here. We both thought mine, made to my Mums' original recipe, were better. Nice treat all the same though.
Plenty of woodcraft items for sale, as is the case throughout Tassie.
After the markets we headed out to Richmond, yet another quaint historic village with the oldest convict built bridge in Australia.
