Day 20 - 25/07/2013 - Babinda

We met up with Russell, the guy who organised the CNC day at Cairns, who lives in Babinda. It is quite a nice little town with a good atmosphere.

Babinda is close to a beaut spot called The Boulders, for obvious reasons.

By all accounts quite a dangerous place, and when you see the water rushing through the rocks and boulders you can imagine people gettting caught out.

These just grow on the trees here.

On to another local spot, Josephine Falls.

The rainforest is full of interesting bits and pieces that we don't see down south.

This whole area is sugarcane country and these fields stretch for miles, as do the narrow gauge rail tracks for the sugar cane trains.

Another local point of interest is Bramston Beach, the sign not doing much to advertise it!
